Christmas Tables: 2025 Trends to Try on the Sapphire Coast

Christmas is not far away, and if you’re anything like us, part of the fun this time of the year is creating a table that’s as magical as the day itself.

2025 is bringing some exciting trends for Christmas tables, and we’ve added a little Sapphire Coast twist. We hope it inspires you to have some fun with your own table decorations this festive season!

Jewel-Toned Luxe

This is all about rich, saturated colours. Think emerald green, deep sapphire blue, ruby red. Pair them with gold or brass accents and textured glassware for an effortlessly luxe tablescape. This is all about opulence, colour and evoking a romantic, moodiness.

Gilded Greens

A really easy way to shush up a classic style. Think lush foliage garlands paired with some gold or brass cutlery, candlesticks, and velvet ribbon accents.

You could check what you’ve got in the garden- use gum-leaf garlands or small potted natives as a base, and sprinkle in a few gold taper candles for a touch of sparkle.

Playful & Nostalgic

Maximalism is back! Candy-cane stripes, bold crockery, oversized candlesticks, and colour colour colour!

It’s not about cohesion- the only brief is to have fun with it. Mix and match and play with combo’s, shapes, textures and colours. This is also a wonderful opportunity to mix in family heirlooms to bring warmth and uniqueness

Sustainable & Natured Inspired

2025 is all about using natural materials and eco-friendly choices: think pinecones, dried citrus, rattan, driftwood, home made details, and reusable decorations.

Source native plants or dried coastal florals (banksia, gum nuts) for centrepieces. Keep things local, simple, and sustainable.

Produce Themed Centrepieces

This has been everywhere in 2025. Take fruits and vegetables in clashing, or complementary hues and use them as your table centrepiece.
Play with flowers in them, or simply pile them on their own or in bowls or pouring out of glasses. A funky, fresh and edible way to make your table pop!
